Our Founding Sisters

My Journey to Finding the Perfect Tool

I'll never forget landing my first group of clients—it felt like the work I'd invested my entire career into finally came together. As someone who's proudly nerdy and deeply immersed in sales and marketing, I'd spent years searching for the ideal solution. Frustrations were common, like the weekend I spent trying to integrate my email marketing system with my CRM, only to have it crash right before a critical client presentation. It was expensive, stressful, and incredibly frustrating—even for someone tech-savvy like me. Explaining these complex integrations to my non-techie clients was almost impossible, leaving many small businesses behind since only large companies could afford sophisticated tools. I knew there had to be a better way.

Discovering HighLevel

When I found HighLevel, a new sales and marketing software platform, my excitement soared. I was the 456th person to purchase it, and my enthusiasm even landed my testimonial right at the bottom of their homepage! Recognizing its potential, I immediately shared this discovery with my networking group. Openly acknowledging the software was still new, I invited others to join me, promising I'd guide them step-by-step, even though I was only slightly ahead. That’s how my Founding Sisters were born—17 incredible women decided to leap with me.

Navigating Challenges and Realizations

As we explored the platform, we faced our share of obstacles, but we persevered. I first built out my own system and then supported my clients through theirs. The journey taught me valuable lessons—automation is powerful but requires clarity. Many clients loved the idea of automated sales and marketing but hadn’t yet clearly defined their customer journeys or sales processes. Juggling their businesses alongside building these systems was tough. We realized foundational work must precede automation, and recognizing this, we identified precisely who succeeds best with our approach:

Ideal Client Checklist:

  • Established Authors, Experts, or Educators: You have an identifiable audience and desire direct, meaningful relationships with them through email, text messaging, newsletters, courses, communities, and workbooks.

  • Consistent Lead Flow: You're generating leads but struggle to manage and nurture them efficiently. Advanced automation can streamline this, ensuring no opportunities slip through.

  • Scalability Needs: Your business is growing, and manual operations are becoming overwhelming. You're looking for a scalable solution that supports growth without proportional increases in workload or staffing.

  • Eager to Automate: You want to automate routine tasks to focus on strategic initiatives and deeper customer engagement.

  • Dedicated Team Leader: You're prepared to assign a team leader within your organization who will manage integration and communication with our team.

  • Commitment to Technology: You recognize the value of investing in technology to boost efficiency and maintain competitive advantages.

The True Meaning of Automation

My ultimate "aha!" moment was realizing that the true value of this tool isn't just about CRM or funnel-building capabilities—it's about empowering clients, giving them confidence, and enabling them to succeed digitally on their terms. I’ve seen firsthand how this empowerment translates into real-world success—like witnessing clients celebrate as automated emails lead to appointments effortlessly booked, fueling their business growth and confidence.
